Muncie was ranked the top Indiana college town by WalletHub in a recent study.
Out of 326 college towns on the list, Muncie was ranked 60th — six spots above Bloomington, where Indiana University is located.
In the same ranking done by city size, Muncie was 22nd in the small city list, and again the top city in Indiana.
When making their ranking, WalletHub looked at the cost of the city, as well as how youth-oriented the environment is and the opportunities students have in the city. Muncie was ranked the most affordable college town in the nation by realtor.com earlier this year.
