MUNCIE, IN (WCRD Weather) -- Winter weather week has almost come to an end but there is still plenty to discuss. One of the major things people look to every year is the long term winter weather outlook, which this year is indicating a warmer and drier than average winter. These outlooks can be helpful, but they certainly don't mean it won't get cold and that it won't snow. With that in mind it is always important to know what to look for when it comes to cold weather injuries, such as hypothermia and frostbite, and to know how to treat these conditions. WCRD Chief Weather Forecaster Michael Behrens and Forecaster Adam Grimes have more details in today's stream!
Winter Weather Preparedness week will wrap up tomorrow with our final special segment on WCRD News Live @ Five, followed by a Winter Weather Special airing at 5:30 pm following the 5 pm newscast. Tomorrow’s topic is on outdoor safety during winter. Make sure you tune in on 91.3 FM or listen live via wcrd.net or the TuneIn Radio app.
