Muncie community members won’t have to go far for adult fun on Halloween night. Cornerstone Center for the Arts is hosting an adult Halloween party called the All Hallows’ Eve Bash. This is the first ever Halloween bash the center has hosted and director of community relations, Jeff Robinson, says he considers this event already a success.
“Being that it is a first time event I try not to put numbers on the event because the numbers alone and people that show up isn’t the measure of success. It’s how well it’s implemented, getting sponsorship and considering all of those things it’s already a great success,” he said.
Cornerstone Center for the Arts was built in 1926 and according to their website, started as a one of three masonic temples in Muncie. All Hallows’ Eve Bash is a fundraiser to support childhood art education put on by Cornerstone Center for the Arts and community volunteers and Robinson says people are sure to have a good time.
“We will have adult beverages, two DJs in two different rooms plenty of lights, plenty of great sound and just a great time,” he said.
The event is 18+ and will be Saturday from 9p.m. to 1a.m. and will include two DJs, costume contests and concessions from Mr. Mouse Bar and Grill, live entertainment and a haunted house provided by Scarevania. The owner of Scarevania, Brian Blair says people should come expecting to be creeped out.
“I don’t want to give too many secrets away but we’re more of an adult style haunt so it’s a little bit more gory and intense, scare is full on. Our motto is ‘you want to see something scary’ and we take pride in making the haunts look like a movie set. So come out to All Hallows’ Eve Bash and let’s creeped out. ” he said.
Tickets will be sold at the door and are also available online at cornerstonearts.org for $15.
