Around 5 or 6 p.m. on Nov. 29, Muncie Police Department officers responded to a call for a fight with a possible firearm involved on Beechwood Avenue and Pauline Avenue — near the fraternity houses on Riverside Avenue.
However, MPD Sgt. James Lenox said because they couldn't find the suspects, no firearm was found. The fight was over a "dope deal," Lenox said the victim told him.
The victim refused to cooperate or fill out a report or paperwork, Lenox said.
Lenox did not know if the victim was a student or not.
