Sony has launched a new PlayStation 4 firmware update, PS4 3.11. The update, which released today, November 9, follows the PS4 3.10 update, which came in October. According to PlayStation Europe’s official Twitter feed, the update will “enhance system performance.”
The official patch notes for the update don’t offer much information, simply stating, “System software stability during use of some features has been improved.”
The PS4 may need all the updates it can get as it gears up for the holiday season, with many big games releasing in the next few weeks. Xbox One also has an update of its planned to launch on November 12.
PlayStation 4 users can download the new update for 250.4 MB.
