MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Fall temperatures have arrived in Muncie this week. As you can tell, the high temperatures have been around the low to mid 60s, with the lows dropping down into the 40s. They will continue to fall, especially into this weekend. Friday we will have a high of 57, and we will actually get to see the freezing point as we will have a low of 32. But it gets worse. Saturday we will have a high of 51 and a low of 28. So you might want to make sure that you have your heavy jacket handy as you go outside Saturday night or to the Ball State football game. Then moving into Sunday we will have a FREEZE WATCH in effect from Sunday at 2 am, until Sunday at 10am. So don't be alarmed if you see frost on the grass Sunday morning, it's just showing us that fall has arrived. After Sunday the highs will start to climb all the way back up into the high 60s, which is more early fall like weather than freeze watches. Make sure you have your jacket with you this weekend!
