MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- This weekend is Family Weekend at Ball State University and that means there will be many parents, grandparents, students, and family members in town as the Cardinals take on the Chippewas from Central Michigan. The weather will be warm for the game on Saturday, with a high near 70, however, we will have to dodge multiple rounds of rain. Bringing the rain jackets out to Scheumann Stadium is highly advised as periods of rain showers, and maybe a rumble of thunder, are expected throughout the entire game period. Additionally, winds will be gusty, from the southwest in the 15-20 mph range, with gusts over 20 mph. Temps will then take a plunge, back toward the 40s, as we head into the overnight Saturday.
