It's National Guacamole Day.
Set the queso and salsa aside. It's time to give guac some spotlight. Treat yourself to a guacamole snack (or entire meal) at one of these five Muncie spots fit for celebrating the healthy dip.
1. Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant
Puerto Vallarta offers a side of guacamole for $2.99 — perfect to go with an order of cheese quesadillas or nachos.
At Qdoba, guacamole is free with your meal, so take advantage of that and pile it on.
3. Tacos Sol
This Southside Mexican restaurant on Madison Street offers a regular side order of guacamole for $2.75, and a large order for $3.75.
Guacamole at the Ciudad Colonial is $2.99, or $8.49 for a sample platter with guacamole, bean dip, cheese dip and choriqueso (a mixture or chorizo sausage and cheese).
5. Casa Del Sol
Located in downtown, Casa Del Sol charges $1.99 for a regular order of guacamole.
