Ball State finishes 3rd at Badger Invite

Ball State - Remaining Fall Schedule

Oct. 5-6 - Firestone Invitational - Akron, Ohio

Oct. 12-13 - Crooked Stick Invitational - Carmel, Ind.

Nov. 6-8 - Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic - Lahaina, Hawaii


The Cardinals entered the final round in third place as well. They finished behind Kansas, who won the title, and Miami University who finished second. 

Michael VanDeventer led Ball State in the final round with 2-over par 74 at Wisconsin's University Ridge Golf Course. The team finished the final round with a 309 in the final round for a 54-hole score of 894 (+30). 

James Blackwell and Tyler Pearson scored a pair of 77s in the final round, and Johnny Watts contributed with an 81.

VanDeventer and Blackwell ended the tournament tied for 12th with a 221 (+5).

The Cardinals have three tournaments remaining on their fall schedule. They will return to action on Oct. 5 at the Firestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio.
