Firefighters were called to assist officers in removing the female student from the vehicle, and that student is currently being treated at Ball Memorial Hospital for injuries. The identity of the student has not yet been released.
“Two cars collided, and there were two people injured,” Ball State University Spokeswoman Joan Todd said. “Only one of those injured was a student."
