Junior gymnast Denasiha Christian has been named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team for the second consecutive season.

“We are really proud of what Denasiha has accomplished so far this season,” head coach Joanna Saleem said in a statement. “Being named to the All-MAC Second Team is a wonderful recognition for her and Ball State gymnastics. She has taken her training seriously and worked hard each week to be prepared for competition."

Christian competes on the vault, balance beam and floor for the Ball State Gymnastics team.

She finished first or tied for the top spot on the vault this season five times, and did the same on the floor four times. She also tied a school record with a 9.95 on floor.

Ball State will compete at the MAC Championships on March 21 in Kent, Ohio.
