The Ball State men's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 sweep on the road against Lindenwood Friday night, ending a two-match winning streak.
The Cardinals are now 12-10 on the season.
The Cardinals struggled early, losing the first set 17-25. After a close second set of 25-22, Lindenwood closed the match with a 25-19 win over Ball State in set three.
The Cardinals hit .056 on the night with 27 kills.
Junior outside attacker Marcin Niemczewski led Ball State offensively with six kills and an ace.
Sophomore Brendan Surane and Freshman Matt Walsh finished with four and three kills, respectively.
The Cardinals will look to get back on the winning track at 7 p.m. March 21 as they travel to take on Quincy University.
