The Ball State board of trustees is set to meet at 9 a.m., before President Ferguson gives his State of the University address. The board is scheduled to discuss some high-caliber topics, according to the meeting agenda.

Endorsement of the "Refreshed Ball State Vision and Strategic Plan"
Ball State's strategic plan will outline the goals the university has for campus and academic growth. -
Discussions on investment auditing
Following the discovery of two investment fraud cases that resulted in $13 million in losses to Ball State, the university has since reviewed and made changes to auditing policies for university investments. -
Chronic unsatisfactory performance for tenure faculty
Under the proposal, if a tenured faculty member receives two consecutive years, or three years in a five-year period, of unsatisfactory performance on their annual reviews, they will enter into an remediation period. Each department determines what is considered unsatisfactory. -
Revision of project costs for McKinley Commons
McKinley Commons will be a a four-story residence hall, hotel, conference center and restaurant space. Students will be able to help lead sales and host events in the hotel, as well as work residence hall positions and help out in the restaurant and with catering. - Proposed renovations to Schmidt/Wilson residence halls
