Former Ball State wide receiver Willie Snead has signed on to the New Orleans Saints practice squad.
Snead entered the 2014 NFL Draft after his junior year at Ball State, but went undrafted. He signed with the Cleveland Browns prior to the preseason. After being cut by the Browns, Snead had a tryout with the New York Giants before a short stint on the Carolina Panthers practice squad.
Snead was named a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist for the 2013 season after setting Ball State single season records in receptions (106), receiving yards (1,516) and touchdowns (15).
