What: Areum Park will play the piano as part of an artist diploma recital. The event is open to the public.
InDesign Basics
When: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Where: uDo Center at 2005 S. High St.
What: Maring-Hunt Library will host a workshop to learn the basics of InDesign for ages 10 and older. The workshop will cover how to create projects such as posters, brochures, magazines, newspapers and books.

What: Tickets for “An Evening with Johnny Mathis” will go on sale. Presale tickets were available Tuesday through 10 p.m. Thursday with a password of “CHANCES” here.
Mathis will be on campus Oct. 2 for a concert at Emens.
According to the press release, his “Greatest Hits” spent 490 continuous weeks — about a decade — on the Billboard Top Albums chart.
Graduate recital

What: Bahar Annadurdyyeva will perform pieces on the piano. The event is open to the public.
Relay for Life
Price: Free
When: 4 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday
Where: Delaware County Fairgrounds
What: Delaware County’s Relay for Life includes an Opening Ceremony, a Survivors Lap and Celebration, a Caregivers Lap, a Luminaria Ceremony, a Fight Back Ceremony and a Closing Ceremony. The event also will have a water balloon toss, a Dizzy Bat Race and Zumba.

SATURDAY
Festival on the Green

Where: Arts Terrace
Rain location: Alumni Center
What: The annual event will host the MACC Arts Fair, which will have art display, vendors, an instrument petting zoo, activities for children, door prizes and mini-performances. Also starting at 5:30 p.m., the Muncie Symphony Orchestra will host its picnic contest with a theme of beach party and will give prizes for the most creative picnic, the best use of the theme and a people’s choice.
The Muncie Symphony Orchestra will then perform at 7 p.m.
Circle City Pride Festival
Price: The event is free and open to all ages
When: 10 a.m.
Where: Indiana War Memorial and American Legion Mall in Indianapolis
What: The state’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer celebration starts at 10 a.m. This year’s Pride has an addition of the Pride Tent City where groups can rent a VIP cabana with a table, chairs, T-shirts and VIP wristbands for up to 10 people. If people have their own canopy, they can rent a 10 by 10 space.
SUNDAY
‘Monuments Men’

Where: Maring-Hunt Library at 2005 S. High St.
What : As part of Maring-Hunt Library’s Sunday @ the Movies program, the library will show “Monuments Men” at 3 p.m. with free popcorn.
The film, released Feb. 7, stars George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban, Hugh Bonneville and Cate Blanchett. The Clooney-directed film follows an Allied group as they try to find and save pieces of art before Hitler can destroy them in World War II.
Trivia Brawl

What: Be Here Now hosts its weekly event for all ages. It’s free to play the five rounds in solo or team play for a $25 prize.
