Ball State will announce its newest president Thursday.
The university's Board of Trustees will vote to approve the 15th president at 1 p.m. Thursday in Sursa Hall.
"I am confident that we have identified a leader who will continue to put students first in all that we do," Board of Trustees chair Rick Hall said in a press release.
Students, faculty and community members are welcome to attend the press conference, according to a press release.
"This is a special day in the life of our university: only the 15th such occasion in [Ball State's] 96-year history," Hall said.
For those unable to attend, the conference will be streamed live on bsu.edu.
