The men’s swimming and diving team will compete in a dual-meet at home against Miami at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.

It is also senior day for six of the squad members, who will be competing in their final home meet of the season.

The Cardinals are on a two-match losing streak with both losses coming from Eastern Michigan and Ohio State Jan. 25 and Buffalo Feb. 1. Ball State’s last win came Jan. 18 at Eastern Illinois, where they defeated the Panthers 148-75.

Miami also comes into the dual-meet on a two-match losing streak, having lost contests to both Buffalo and Eastern Michigan. The RedHawks enter the meet with an overall dual-meet record of 4-3 and a 1-2 record in Mid-American Conference play.

The last time these two teams faced each other, Miami came out on top, winning 149-118. Seniors Drew Tharp and Joseph Morris, along with past swimmers Michael Weber and Nicholas Stevens, were the four Cardinal squad members who earned wins in that match despite the loss.
