The Cardinals knocked off the Bulls in three sets Saturday night.
Ball State jumped out to a 12-4 lead in the first set before Buffalo started battling back.
After Buffalo closed the gap to 22-18, Ball State went on a 3-0 run to finish off the set and take a 1-0 lead.
Buffalo came out stronger in the second set, jumping out to a 7-4 lead. Ball State fought back, taking a 9-8 lead before opening up the offense.
They went on to win the set 25-19 to take a 2-0 lead.
Ball State took a 10-4 to open the third set and made quick work out of Buffalo in the set, going on to win 25-15 off a Jenna Spadafora kill.
The win improves Ball State to 15-4 (3-1) on the season.
