Ball State Dining emails students in response to Chobani Greek yogurt recall

The Daily News

Students who purchased Chobani yogurt on campus may need to return it due to a voluntary recall by the company, according to an email from Ball State Dining.

The email sent to students did not say what the cause of the recall was. According to the Associated Press, Chobani Greek Yogurt issued a recall Friday because some products were affected by mold, which had caused illnesses in some customers.

The recall only includes products with the date of Sept. 11, 2013, through Oct. 7, 2013, and an item code of 16-012. Ball State Dining stated in the email that it has removed the affected items from their shelves.
