UPDATE: Muncie police have given the all clear to both Ivy Tech location, but the campuses will remain closed for the rest of the day. They have opened an investigation, but will not comment about it at this time.
Both Ivy Tech locations were evacuated Thursday afternoon after bomb and shooting threats were called in. Security officials searched both locations in Muncie. Only the Cowan Rd. location has been give the all clear.
EARLIER: Muncie police said possible bomb threats and threats of shooting have been made to an Ivy Tech campus.
Police could not confirm which Ivy Tech campus was involved, put officials were sent to both Muncie locations. Scanner traffic indicates police are being cautious of possible explosives, IEDs.
Officials at Ivy Tech in Anderson said their campus had not received threats. Officials at the Marion campus directed the Daily News to Muncie campus, who could not be reached.
