Late Nite Carnival to feature zipline, rock wall

The Daily News

Late Nite Carnival is bringing Ball State students a zipline and rock wall as new additions to the annual end-of-the-year celebration.

Students can visit both attractions after signing a safety waiver.

The night will also feature 15 thrill rides, free popcorn, cotton candy and sno cones, along with other fair food for a small fee.

There will also be game booths such as leap frog, ring toss, duck pond and a lot more. DJ Slader-Hader will DJ throughout the night.

Being around for about nine years, Friday’s Late Nite Carnival will be in the commuter lot by LaFollette Lot C-1 from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Late Nite is a student-run organization that tries to bring fun and exciting things for students to do on the weekends. It started in 2001 and their mission is “to provide, support and maintain a safe and entertaining environment for the students of Ball State University.”

The carnival is free for students and $5 for faculty and staff. Children are welcome to attend, but guests must sign in with a Ball State student or staff member. If you pre-register you can get into the carnival at 6 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.

Pre-registration is available today from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Atrium and the Scramble Light and Friday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Student Center and the Scramble Light. Faculty can pre-register at Student Center room 112.
