For the ninth time this season, Ball State baseball had its game canceled due to poor weather.
A Big Ten matchup would have been in store for the Cardinals, as they were expected to face Michigan State on Tuesday before rain rolled in, canceling the plans.
The game against Michigan State was intended to make up for another game that was rained out earlier this season. The team currently has no plans to make up this game.
Ball State still plans on facing Valparaiso this afternoon, weather permitting. Forecasts expect rain to fall throughout Muncie in the morning, and then taper off as the afternoon starts.
First pitch is at 3 p.m. at Ball Diamond.
