The Ball State Alumni Association Office is accepting nominations for the Ball State Alumni G.O.L.D. (Graduate Of the Last Decade) Award through Friday, March 1.
The annual award, which started in 1999, recognizes recent graduates of up to ten years of receiving his or her initial bachelor's degree from Ball State. Nominees should be able to demonstrate success in his or her professional field and be an active member of the Ball State University Alumni Association.
Nominees are suggested to include: resume/vitae, letter to the selection committee, two to three letters of recommendation, and no more than five pages of work samples, articles, publications. The deadline for any and all supplemental materials is Friday, March 15.
Last year, there were 70 nominations for the award, Kate Webber, alumni and student programs director, said. Up to eight alumni are honored each year with the award at the Alumni Awards Dinner.
The online nomination form is available through the Ball State website or a downloadable form that must be mailed in.
