Despite the loss, Ball State had a huge performance from Junior Angie Hosbach. Hosbach posted team-high marks of 9.825 and 9.875 on the bars and beam, respectively. She also placed second overall with a 9.825 on the floor.
Freshman Denasiha Christian took first overall on the floor with her score of 9.850. Ball State scored 49.050 on the floor as a team – their highest mark of the season.

The team posted a score of 48.075 on the bars. Freshman Brooklyn Schumacher was the Cardinals’ second-leading scorer with a 9.750.
The vault, where the team has been strong all year, proved to be a weak point this week. Led by Brooke Evans’ mark of 9.700, the team posted a score of just 47.825.
Ball State looks to bounce back in conference play next week, but they will have to do it on the road. The Cardinals will travel to Ohio for the Bowling Green Invitational Saturday, Feb. 23, at 4 p.m.
