Teppanyaki Grill & Buffet closed on Friday after 17 critical health violations were cited by a Delaware County Health Department inspection, according to the Muncie Star Press.
The restaurant, located at 4221 W. Bethel Ave., re-opened Tuesday, manager Rich Yang said. The establishment had to prove the cited violations have been corrected.
Teppanyaki voluntarily closed after a recommendation from the health department.
A copy of the health department report has not been released to the media yet.
