The Men in Education Association is hosting a Sept. 11 remembrance event co-sponsored by the University Program Board.
The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on University Green and is free to the public.
In addition to an inflatable obstacle course and free food, including popcorn and cotton candy, there will be a remembrance wall where attendees can include their personal memories of 9/11.
Paul Jones, president of Men in Education, hopes to find a permanent location for the wall once the event is over.
"In the past two years, I've haven't really seen anything done on campus to remember it," Jones said. "It's a big part of American history."
Jones hopes to help participants remember the significance the event had on the United States and to honor the memories of the victims.
In the case of rain, the event will be held in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center Ballroom.
