Cannons of paint will blast students with color when the Life in Color paint party comes to Ball State on Nov. 10.
The event, formerly known as DayGlow, is the world's largest paint party.
Tickets go on sale 8 a.m. Friday at the Worthen Arena ticket office and John R. Emens Auditorium box office. The price is $10 until those limited tickets are sold out, then the tickets will be priced at $15.
"I think it's an exciting event because it's normally a $55 event and we're able to bring it to the students for $10 or $15," said Maureen Warter, assistant director for programs with University Program Board. "It makes it so all students are able to come. It's not price exclusive."
The university is funding the event, Warter said.
The event also includes a live concert, DJs, stilt-walkers, contortion acts, fire shows and aerial acts.
The event is for Ball State students only. IDs will be checked when purchasing a ticket and at the show.
Warter said it's important for students to know they can have fun on campus and don't have to go off campus for entertainment.
"It's an opportunity to have a fun, big event in Worthen Arena, which we don't do very often other than sports," she said. "It's just something different that our campus hasn't seen."
For those students who don't want to go to the paint event or aren't able to get tickets, UPB will be hosting a Fall Fest event on LaFollette Field. Depending on the weather, it may be moved indoors. Fall Fest will include music, pumpkin carving, fall foods and games.
