0:49 in the fourth quarter - TOUCHDOWN - Indiana takes a one-point lead on a touchdown pass from Sudfeld from the two-yard line. Ball State has 49 seconds to score. 

0:58 in the fourth quarter - Sudfeld converts a fourth-and-seven to push Indiana to Ball State's 15-yard line. 

2:00 in the fourth quarter - Ball State goes three-and-out on its next drive. Indiana takes over. Ball State commits two pass interference calls on the first two plays of the drive. 

4:00 in the fourth quarter - Onside kick by Indiana is recovered by Ball State. They start the drive with two runs which go for a collective two yards. 

4:07 in the fourth quarter - TOUCHDOWN - Indiana isn't done yet. Sudfeld finds Latimer on the left sideline for a short catch. Latimer breaks away from the Ball State defenders and beats them in a foot race to the end zone. It's an 70-yard touchdown. Ball State now leads 38-32. 

5:20 in the fourth quarter - Ball State begins to burn the rest of the clock. Wenning completes a pass to Smith for a first down. Edwards carries the ball on the next play for five yards. Indiana calls its second timeout. 

7:24 in the fourth quarter - Indiana may have missed it's last chance at winning. The Hoosiers fail to covert a fourth down and turn the ball over on downs. Ball State takes over on its own 35-yard line. 

7:28 in the fourth quarter - Screen pass by Indiana to the right has a ton of open field, pushing the Hoosiers within two yards of a first down. 

8:35 in the fourth quarter - Personal foul penalty moves Indiana back to its own 45-yard line. Now faced with a first-and 25. 

8:49 in the fourth quarter - Ball State takes a timeout after Houston gains 18 yards running down the left sideline. Indiana has slowly moved the ball down field this drive. The ball is now on Ball State's 40-yard line. 

10:23 in the fourth quarter - Ball State keeps throwing the ball instead of running the ball to kill the clock. The end up in third-and-long near midfield. Wenning doesn't connect with Jordan Williams over the middle, and Kovanda comes in to punt. Indiana will start its drive on 17-yard line. 

12:30 in the fourth quarter - Indiana is called for a false start penalty on the entire offensive line. They fail to convert a first down and are forced to punt. Ball State takes on over on its own 30-yard line, still carrying a 38-25 lead. 

13:17 in the fourth quarter - Indiana quarterback limps off the field with an injury. Freshman Nate Sudfeld replaces him. Big Ten Network reports that Coffman is out for the game. 

14:47 in the fourth quarter - Two straight incompletions to Willie Snead force a Ball State punt. Indiana calls for a fair catch. 

15:00 in the fourth quarter - Ball State starts the quarter with the ball on its own 38-yard line. 

END OF THE THIRD QUARTER - Ball State leads Indiana 38-25. 

0:45 in the third quarter - Wenning lobbed a deep pass toward Snead along the right sideline near the start of the drive. Snead was brought down by the cornerback before the ball arrived, resulting in a pass interference. A few plays later, officials ruled a completion on a catch made by Willie Snead when replays showed it may have hit the ground. Coach Pete Lembo slammed his hat on the ground after Ball State failed to get the snap off on the next play with enough time. An unsportsmanlike penalty was called on Lembo

3:00 in the third quarter - Coffman missed on several of his passes on the next drive and Indiana quickly had to punt the ball away. LB Kenneth Lee came up with a pass deflection on a third-down pass to the middle of the field. 

4:11 in the third quarter - TOUCHDOWN - Ball State takes a lengthy drive down the field on the back of passes to Connor Ryan and Willie Snead. The drive took 11 plays and ended with a 11-yard TD pass from Wenning to Zane Fakes. Ball State leads Indiana 38-25. 

8:42 in the third quarter - LB Kenneth Lee sacked Coffman for an eight-yard loss, leaving Indiana for a third-and-long to pick up. Coffman nearly picked up with a run up the middle, but fell two yards short. Indiana punted. 

10:45 in the third quarter - TOUCHDOWNJahwan Edwards carried Ball State down the field before Ball State completed a trick play for a touchdown. Wenning handed the ball off to Jamill Smith and ran around the right side toward the end zone. Smith looked to run left, but stopped and began to look toward Wenning for a pass. He lofted the ball up for Wenning, who dove for the ball in the end zone and managed to haul it in. Ball State leads Indiana 31-25. 

12:30 in the third quarter - Newsome forced Coffman out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage to earn his second sack of the game. The sack came on third down and Indiana punted the ball away. 

13:43 in the third quarter - Ball State failed to take advantage of its field position and had to punt. 

14:55 in the third quarter - Indiana's kickoff landed out of bounds. Ball State's first drive of the second half started on the 45-yard line. 

HALFTIME - Indiana leads Ball State 25-24. 

0:05 in the second quarter - TOUCHDOWN - Indiana moved to Ball State's three-yard line on second-and-goal. Coffman had a comfortable amount of time in the pocket on the next play and eventually found Cody Latimer in the left side of the end zone for a touchdown. Indiana converted a two-point conversion with a run to the right by Houston. Indiana leads Ball State 25-24. 

1:27 in the second quarter - Coffman finds Chester down the middle of the field for a 21-yard gain. He completes a short screen pass on the next play which goes for an apparent touchdown. The officials call a block in the back on Indiana to bring it back. 

2:05 in the second quarter - Ball State LB Tony Martin walks off the field after being tended to by the team's trainers. 

2:50 in the second quarter - DE Jonathan Newsome, who returned to the Ball State lineup after serving a two-game suspension to start the season, recorded Ball State's first sack of the season. He pushed his way to the middle of the pocket to bring down Coffman

4:35 in the second quarter - TOUCHDOWN - A mix of passes and runs brought Ball State within the Indiana 10-yard line. Wenning's pass on third down fell incomplete, but pass interference was called on Indiana to keep the drive alive. Edwards pushed the pile forward two plays later for the one-yard touchdown. Ball State leads Indiana 24-17.  

6:44 in the second quarter - A holding penalty put Indiana on its own 10-yard line. Coffman failed to throw for a first down, bringing on a punt by Indiana. Ball State took over on the Indiana 28-yard line after an unsportsmanlike penalty was called after the punt on Indiana. 

7:35 in the second quarter - Jamill Smith drew a pass interference flag near the beginning of the drive. Jahwan Edward moved the ball into Indiana territory on the ground. Keith Wenning threw a deep pass to the left corner of the end zone, but an Indiana defender broke it up. Kicker Steven Schott made a 51-yard field goal to add on three points. Ball State and Indiana are tied at 17-17. 

9:00 in the second quarter - Live stats are currently out. Indiana was forced to punt after Coffman threw behind a wide-open Hughes over the middle. 

11:32 in the second quarter - Horactio Banks ran the ball three straight times and failed to pick up a first down. Ball State went three-and-out on the drive and was forced to punt away. 

13:30 in the second quarter - TOUCHDOWN - Indiana opned the quarter with deep pass down the left sideline that fell incomplete Ball State CB Jeffery Garrett was initially flagged for pass interference, but it was later picked up. Coffman drove Indiana down the rest of the field before completing a nine-yard TD pass to Kofi Hughes. Indiana leads Ball State 17-14. 

End of the first quarter - Indiana gains 21 yards before the quarter ends. SCORE: Ball State - 14. Indiana - 10. 

1:30 in the first quarter - Two straight Ball State passes fell incomplete, forcing Ball State to punt. 

3:25 in the first quarter - Ball State LG Kitt O'Brien had to be helped off the field by two trainers after he got his leg caught under an Indiana on a Ball State run. Starting RG Jordan Hansel moved over the left side to replace O'Brien, while backup Chris Sparrow came in a RG

4:20 in the first quarter - TOUCHDOWN - Switching to time in the game. Indiana easily drove down the field after Houston picked up 45 yards on the ground near the left sideline. Houston finished the drive with a run around the right tackle, jogging into the end zone untouched for a 13-yard touchdown. Ball State leads 14-10. 

8:39 p.m. - TOUCHDOWN - After Wenning was nearly intercepted for a touchdown on the right side of the field, he completed a 34-yard touchdown pass to WR Willie Snead. Snead dove for the ball and managed to hold on for the completion. Ball State leads Indiana 14-3. 

8:33 p.m. - Turnover on downs - Indiana reached its own 45-yard line and went for it on fourth-and-one. Indiana decided to go for it, running Houston up the middle behind a fullback. The attempt failed. Ball State took over at the 45-yard line. 

8:28 p.m. - TOUCHDOWN - Ball State TE Zane Fakes slips through Indiana's goal line defense and gets wide-open for a catch in the back of the end zone. The two-yard pass was Wenning's first touchdown pass of the season. 

8:25 p.m. - After five straight passes to open to the game for Ball State, RB Jahwan Edwards ran the ball up the middle for 13 yards. Officials initially ruled that he fumbled before hitting the ground, but reversed the call after review. Smith rushed the ball on the next play and juked his way past defenders to gain 30 yards, putting Ball State on the two-yard line. 

8:20 p.m. - Indiana went three-and-out on its next drive and was forced to punt. Coffman's pass on third down was batted into the air, but hit the ground after an Indiana player failed to bring it in. 

8:15 p.m. - Ball State went three-and-out on its first offensive drive of the game. Quarterback Keith Wenning threw to WR Jamill Smith on all three plays. The first two were completed for four total yards, with the second completion losing two yards, but Wenning missed Smith on the third throw while under pressure by Indiana. Ball State punted. Indiana called for a fair catch on the 15-yard line. 

8:10 p.m. - Ball State forced Indiana in a fourth-and-10 situation after DE Nick Miles blew up a running play and left RB Tevin Coleman with nowhere to run. Indiana took a timeout and attempted a 46-yard field goal, which was good. IU leads 3-0 with 12:06 left in the first quarter. 

8:05 p.m. -  On the first play from scrimmage, Indiana quarterback Cam Coffman dumped a pass off to WR Cody Latimer in the flats on the left side of the field. Latimer avoided tacklers and ran along the left sideline for a 36-yard gain.
