Two sports at Ball State will hold walk-on tryouts for the upcoming season.
The women's basketball team will have its tryout the week of Sept. 2, but students wanting to try out must complete two requirements: they must bring proof of an athletic physical from the last six months and proof of insurance.
The two items must be brought to the Health and Physical Activity Building Room 134 by 4 p.m. Tuesday. An email with information detailing the tryout will be spent to those who submit the information.
The baseball team is also holding a walk-on tryout for the 2013 season. The Ball State baseball Twitter account sent a tweet Tuesday about a Wednesday meeting at Ball Diamond for those interested in participating. A date for the tryout was not published.
