LETTER FROM THE EDITOR: Keep checking for coverage you care about

It's hard to believe the school year is already over. The beginning of summer for many means a break from classes and time to spend out in the pool.

And while I still plan on relaxing a bit, summer is now more of an extension of my school year. Like many of you, my days will be spent at my internship and studying.

But I'll also be working for you.

The summer staff and I want to make sure that even though it seems like less is going on around campus, the Daily News will continue to bring you quality information about events and issues affecting students at Ball State and around Muncie.

Don't let the fact that we only print twice a week during the summer fool you - we'll have plenty of coverage and updates on bsudailynews.com each day.

And those updates include more than just print stories.

Keep checking the website for photo galleries, videos and interactives, as well as video blogs from Daily News reporters.

We'll also have coverage and blogs from Ball State students covering the Summer Olympics in London throughout the summer.

But most of all, we want to hear from you.

This is your campus, so if you have something you want to say, let us know. You could send a letter to the editor, an email about something that concerns you or a 30-second video voicing your opinion to editor@bsudailynews.com to be posted on the Daily News website.

You can also use social media to get our attention.

See something happening on campus? Tweet us @dn_campus. Want the latest headlines? Check our Facebook page and follow @bsudailynews.

We're here to provide you information about your community.

This summer in Muncie will surely go by fast, but we'll try to make it worth your while.
