Not hearing his named called throughout the NFL Draft didn't stop former Ball State safety Sean Baker from getting the opportunity to land on a pro roster.
Hours after the end of the draft, Baker confirmed to the Ball State Daily News that he will get a tryout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The tryout will be next weekend in Tampa Bay.
The Buccaneers will then give the best players from the tryout free-agent contracts.
Baker became Ball State's all-time career interception leader in his four seasons for the Cardinals. He is also the only Cardinal to return two fumbles for touchdowns in his career.
He ended his Ball State career with 18 interceptions.
