Senior Kayla Kmiecik was named Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Kmiecik's floor performance against Illinois State, a 9.800 score, was the highest of her career.
Kmieckik is from Avon, Ohio, and is an exercise science major at Ball State.
"Senior Kayla Kmiecik really led us," coach Nadalie Walsh said after Friday's performance. "She did a really good job."
On the beam, she had a season high score of 9.625 while scoring 9.625 on bars Friday.
Kmiecik has earned three letters at Ball State.
The Ball State gymnastics team is 1-1 after beating Illinois State by 0.350 last weekend. The team travels to Central Michigan for a 1 p.m. meet on Saturday.
