Students in Muncie, and those who traveled to Indianapolis for the football home opener against Indiana, are under thunderstorm watches this afternoon and tonight.
The National Weather Service reports a hazardous weather outlook for Central Indiana. The storms may come with strong gusts of wind, small hail and quick spells of heavy rain. Temperatures will be in 90s through 7 p.m., according to the weather service.
Thunderstorms are also possible throughout the coming week.
