Wenning throws game-winning pass to Snead with 29 seconds to play

Keith Wenning engineered a game-winning 75-yard drive, capped by a four-yard touchdown pass to freshman wide receiver Willie Snead with 29 seconds to play, saving Ball State's home opener with a 28-25 victory against Buffalo.

The Cardinals had held a 14-point lead at halftime, only to watch the Bulls comeback to take a 25-21 lead with 6:31 to play in the game. But Wenning and the Cardinals had one final push left in them.

The Cardinals converted three times on third down and twice on fourth down in the final drive, bringing what was left of the announced crowd of 8,964 to its feet in the final minute.
