Ball State has started its season off with a 2-0 record after it beat IPFW 3-1 in Worthen Arena Sunday afternoon.
Middle blocker Kelsey Brandl led the Cardinals with 14 kills in the match. Fellow middle blocker Mindy Marx added 12 kills of her own.
Brandl was honored as the Active Ankle Tournament MVP, while Marx and libero Catie Fredrich were also named to the All-Tournament team.
