With her first recruiting class at Ball State, coach Christine Bader has the 18th best recruiting class in the country.
Bader added two recruits for the 2011-2012 season, Ashlyn Rang from Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne, Ind. and Courtney Wild from John Newcombe Tennis Academy in Carmel, Ind.
Both recruits are rated as four-star recruits. Wild is ranked 80th in the country and second in the state of Indiana. Rang is ranked 154th nationally and fourth in the state.
"I am looking forward to having Wild and Rang join our team next year," Bader said in a press release. "It is exciting to have these two Indiana girls join us and great to see our program get recognized. Courtney and Ashlyn will represent Ball State with pride on and off the court."
Ball State's No. 18 ranked recruiting class joins Miami, who has the No. 7 ranked recruiting class in the country, as the only members of the Mid-American Conference to be ranked nationally. Ball State was also the only school from the state of Indiana that was ranked.
