Five Ball State student athletes were awarded with 2011 Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors.
Sophomore gynmasts Nicole Allen, Morgan Coslow and junior Kayla Kmiecik were all named to the Academic All-MAC gymnastics team Tuesday.
Allen, a pre-medicine and biology major, had a 3.207 GPA. She was the MAC Vault Champion along with MAC Floor Co-Champion.
Coslow owns a 3.779 GPA as a sports administration major.
Kmiecik, an exercise science major, owns a 3.337 GPA. She posted a score of 9.800 on the bars at Kent State this past season.
Two memebers of the men's tennis team were also named to the Academic All-MAC team Tuesday.
Junior Cliff Morrison and sophomore Dalton Albertin were both named to the team.
This is the second time Morrison was named to the Academic All-MAC team, he had a 3.53 GPA.
Albertin was named to his first Academic All-MAC team with a 3.72 GPA.
