Muncie received few damage as a result of the storms that swept East Central Indiana late Wednesday night and early this morning.
Gene Burton, director of public safety at Ball State, said no damages were reported to the University Police Department.
Muncie Police received some calls regarding down power lines, said Lori Cox, an afternoon shift supervisor. She said the station also received calls about a tree that had fallen onto a mobile home and another that partially blocked a local roadway.
Muncie was under a thunderstorm warning, flood and tornado watches at various times Wednesday night. The city received .83 inches of rain yesterday, according to the National Weather Service.
