Four Ball State men's volleyball players were placed on the All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association teams Tuesday.
Middle attacker Anders Nelson and libero Tommy Rouse were named to the All-MIVA first team, while middle attacker J.D. Gasparovic and outside attacker Larry Wrather were named to the second team.
With a 1.35 blocks-per-game average, Nelson stands in first place in MIVA and third nationally. The senior made the All-Miva second team in 2010.
Rouse, a first-year starter, earned his first All-MIVA selection with a second-place ranking of 2.33 digs-per-game in the conference.
Ball State will play in its quarterfinals match of the MIVA tournament Saturday with a home match against Quincy at 7:30.
