After coughing up the lead in the ninth inning to Purdue on Tuesday, Ball State got a come from behind 2-1 victory against Indiana Tech Wednesday.
In his first career start, redshirt freshman Kyle Raleigh held the Indiana Tech offense in check. Raleigh limited the Warriors to one run off of two hits in his five innings of work.
Sophomore captain Blake Beemer came on in the eighth inning and delivered a pinch-hit home run for Ball State, tying the game at 1-1. The homer was the first of the season for Beemer.
With two outs and the bases loaded, senior shortstop T.J. Baumet was hit by a pitch, giving Ball State a 2-1 victory.
