CLEVELAND -- After trailing by nine points with 2:42 seconds to play in the second half, Ball State rallied to force overtime and secure a 76-73 win against Ohio.
The win advances the Cardinals to the semifinals of the Mid-American Conference Tournament at Quicken Loans Arena against Kent State Friday.
In the overtime period, Ohio got two shots from 3-point range by guards D.J. Cooper and Nick Kellogg that would have forced a second overtime.
