INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana residents have until next week to submit new voter registration applications or update their existing voter registration records if they want to vote in the May primary.
Midnight on Monday, April 4 is the deadline to register for the May 3 election. Early voting begins April 4.
Indiana's secretary of state says Hoosiers have the option to register online, on a mobile device, by mail or in person. Residents with a valid Indiana driver's license or Indiana state-issued identification card can visit IndianaVoters.com to register online or by mobile device.
Indiana officials have announced extended registration deadlines for certain military voters and their families. Those who meet the criteria in the 2011 Military and Overseas Voter guide are eligible to register after April 4th for the May primary.
