With the women's swimming and diving 2010-2011 Mid-American Conference Championships on Wednesday, here is a snapshot of each team competing for the MAC title.
Ball State University
Record: 4-4 (1-2 vs MAC opponents)

Top-ranked swimmers:
Freshman Bridgette Ruehl ranks fourth in the 200 breaststroke and sixth in the 100 breaststroke, freshman Mia Miller ranks fourth in the 100 backstroke and sixth in the 200 backstroke, while senior Katie Bylsma (100 freestyle), freshman Emily Wisolek (200 freestyle), freshman Haley Richter (100 butterfly) and senior Maria Gramelspacher (200 butterfly) each rank in the top ten of their respective events.
Ohio University
Record: 10-2 (4-1)

Top-ranked swimmers:
The Bobcats rank first in five events. Senior diver Lindsay Hamilton has the top score in the one-meter diving event, while senior Rachel Heim ranks first in the 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly, and the Bobcats' 200 and 400 freestlye relay teams have also posted the top times in the MAC.
Miami (OH) University
Record: 9-2 (4-1)

Top-ranked swimmers:
The RedHawks have a swimmer ranked first in 15 different events. Sophomore Leah Thornton holds the top time in the 200 butterfly and both the 100 and 200 backstroke, while senior Kelsey Vehr is first in the 200 and 400 individual medley and both breaststroke events.
University of Toledo
Record: 5-4 (3-1)
Top-20 times: 46
Top-ranked swimmers:
Toledo has one swimmer, senior Jacy Dyer in the 1000 and 1650 freestyle, who ranks first in her respective events. Including Dyer, the Rockets also hold the top three times in the 1000 freestyle, while also boasting top three times in the 100, 200 and 500 freestyle events. Toledo also has swimmers ranked in the top three in the 200 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 400 individual medley, 800 freestyle relay and both medley relays.
University at Buffalo
Record: 7-2 (3-1)
Top-20 times: 23
Top-ranked swimmers:
Sophomore Caroline Simmons ranks second in the 50 freestyle and ninth in the 100 freestyle. Junior Brynn Marecki ranks tenth in the 100 breaststroke and 13th in the 200 breaststroke.
Eastern Michigan University
Record: 2-6 (1-4)
Top-20 times: 32
Top-ranked swimmers:
Senior Lesley Vizurraga holds the top score in the three-meter diving event. Freshman Jacquelyn Swartz ranks third in the 200 individual medley, and sophomore Briana Emig ranks second in the 1650 freestyle, fourth in the 1000 freestyle, first in the 500 freestyle and eighth in the 200 freestyle.
Bowling Green University
Record: 3-4 (1-3)

Top-ranked swimmers:
Freshman Brittany Szekely ranks 11th in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, while sophomore Alexis Kain and junior Amanda Rom each rank fifth in the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke respectively.
