Ind. student arrested for alleged school threat

INDIANAPOLIS — A 16-year-old Indianapolis boy has been arrested for allegedly using Facebook to issue threats of violence against his high school.

The teen was arrested early Tuesday and is being held at Marion County's juvenile detention center on one felony count of intimidation.

A police report says a Warren Central High School classmate saw the student's threat Monday on Facebook and told his grandparents, who called police. The report says the Facebook threat mentions the school and says "you're going to die tomorrow every last one of you."

Police spokesman Kendale Adams says that even though the threat wasn't specific the student was charged because he threatened violence against the school.

WISH-TV in Indianapolis reports that students had been talking about the threat via Facebook over the weekend.
