After having its two-game win streak snapped on the road against Illinois State Thursday, Ball State will return home to play in-state opponent Butler.
The match up with the Bulldogs marks the fourth in-state opponent the Cardinals will face this season.
Last season, the Ball State lost 82-67 at Butler, but senior forward Emily Maggert scored a career high 26 points.
The game will be the last game before the Cardinals head to Cancun, Mexico over winter break for the Cancun Tournament.
Butler's Brittany Bowen and Chloe Hamilton will be Ball State's focus on defense, averaging 16.5 and 11.8 points per game, respectively.
A win for the Cardinals will move the team to 5-4 on the season and will have won four out of the last six games.
