Baker sets school record

AMHERST, N.Y. – In a first quarter defensive struggle, safety Sean Baker, Ball State's biggest playmaker on defense, set the school career record for interceptions.

Baker grabbed his 15th career interception after a pass bounced off a Buffalo receiver, moving past Shafer Suggs and Mike Lecklider.

Despite Baker's interception, the Bulls lead the Cardinals 3-0 after the first quarter. Kicker A.J. Principe made a 49-yard field goal, a career long.
