Ball State's season is over.
No. 6 Ball State was routed by No. 3 Ohio 5-0 this afternoon in the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. This is the fourth-straight year the Cardinals have failed to win a game in the conference tournament.
The Cardinals fell behind early, as the Bobcats carried 3-0 lead into halftime. The Cardinals had only one shot on goal in the first half compared to the Bobcats eight.
Thursday marked the return of Cardinals' leading-scorer Devanny Kuhn, who had missed the last three games with an injured finger. The midfielder was still limited, however, and did not even record a shot.
Ball State ends the season 6-14.
