INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Republicans and Democrats are making plans to celebrate Tuesday night after Indiana's general elections.
Both state parties are planning downtown Indianapolis parties for candidates and their supporters.
Republicans will gather at the Grand Hall at Union Station. Many candidates and other Republicans plan to attend, including U.S. Senate candidate Dan Coats and Gov. Mitch Daniels.
Meanwhile, Democrats will be watching election returns on big screen TVs at the downtown Marriott. State Democratic Party Chairman Dan Parker said he's optimistic there will be plenty to celebrate, though many expect this year to be a good one for the GOP.
