Western Michigan is reaping the rewards of its 45-16 win against Ball State on Saturday.
The Broncos won two Mid-American Conference West Division awards Monday.
Cornerback Lewis Toler won MAC West Defensive Player of the Week after he returned an interception for a touchdown in the first minute of the Broncos blowout win.
Kicker John Potter won MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week after he scored a touchdown in on a fake field goal in the first half. Potter also made six extra points and one field goal.
