The Ball State field hockey team is gearing up for a busy weekend in Muncie.
At 3 p.m. Friday, the team will take the field against Miami University. Ball State will face Missouri State on Saturday.
The Cardinals enter the weekend with a 3-5 record and are on a four-game losing streak. Ball State lost its first two Mid-American Conference games last weekend at Kent State and Ohio.
Against Miami, Ball State will be looking to win its first MAC home opener since 2006 when it defeated Central Michigan 2-1 in overtime.
The RedHawks have a 6-3 record. Miami improved its road record to 3-2 with an overtime victory Sunday at Kent State.
